In addition, Hezbollah media relations official, Muhammad Afif, confirmed, “The buildings targeted by the Israeli army in the southern suburb of Beirut are civilian, and that Israel’s goal is to destroy and change the landmarks of the suburb.”
During a tour organized by Hezbollah in the southern suburb, which included more than 200 journalists, Afif said: “Israel seeks to incite the party’s environment against it,” describing “Israel’s bombing of the Al-Sarat TV headquarters as terrorism and aggression.”
He added: “Today our forces clashed with enemy forces in Al-Adaysah and Maroun Al-Ras,” revealing that “the number of deaths among the enemy’s ranks in today’s battles is very large and there is a blackout by the enemy.”
Afif stressed that “what happened in Misgav General is only the beginning,” stressing that “the resistance and the command and control system are fine, and the war has rounds, even if the enemy got us in the first round with assassinations and destruction, and we are only in the first round, and victory will be our ally.”
He added: “What happened in Al-Adaysah and Maroun Al-Ras is only the beginning of the confrontation, and the resistance leadership controls the course of operations and acts with wisdom, deliberation and courage.”
A number of people were killed and others were injured, as Israeli bombing continued on various Lebanese regions.
In Beirut, “enemy aircraft targeted the Choueifat area near the southern suburb. The enemy aircraft also launched three raids on the town of Markaba, and the towns of Blida, Al-Khiyam, Kafr Kila, the Marjayoun Plain, Al-Adisa, Tallet Al-Azziyah, the course of the Litani River, the Al-Khardali area, Bint Jbeil, Aita Al-Shaab, and Ramiya were subjected to violent artillery shelling.”
The city of Nabatieh was targeted “with two hostile raids, where a house was destroyed in the Salhiya neighborhood and another in the Nuns neighborhood. The enemy warplanes also targeted a house in the town of Deir Qanun, and the town of Ansar was subjected to a hostile air strike.”
Lebanese media reported that “three civilians were killed as a result of a raid launched by Israeli enemy aircraft on the town of Dibal in the Bint Jbeil district in southern Lebanon, while a number of Syrian family members were reported injured as a result of two raids on the town of Alma al-Shaab, in addition to a number of casualties in the town of Mifdoun after An air attack on a number of homes destroyed them, and “three people were killed, as a result of raids launched by Israeli enemy aircraft today on the areas of Burj al-Qalawiya and Mashghara in southern Lebanon.”
