8 Election Tribunals established in Punjab for election complaints

(Usman Khan) The Election Commission has formed 8 tribunals for election excuses in Punjab.

According to the notification issued by the Election Commission, 8 election tribunals have been established in Punjab, serving and retired judges have been included in the election tribunals. For Nankana, Sialkot, Wazirabad and some constituencies of Lahore, a tribunal consisting of Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed has been formed, for other constituencies of Lahore, a tribunal consisting of Justice Retired Rana Zahid Mahmood has been formed.

A tribunal consisting of Justice Mohammad Iqbal Chaudhary has been constituted for Chiniot, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang and Hafizabad. For Gujranwala, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, and Narowal, a tribunal consisting of Justice Retired Mehmood Maqbool Bajwa has been constituted, for Multan, Khanewal, DG Khan, Taunsa, Rajanpur, Kot Addu and Leh, a tribunal consisting of Justice Sardar Sarfraz Dogar has been constituted. Constituency of the Tribunal for Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Lodhran and Muzaffargarh consisting of Justice Retired Zafar Iqbal.

For Rawalpindi, Attock, Tallaght, Jhelum, Murree and Chakwal, a tribunal consisting of retired Justice Abdul Shakoor Pracha has been formed.
