This recall is already the fifth for Cybertruck in less than a year 2024. Specifically, in June, an NHTSA report reported a recall of 12,150 electric pickup trucks. The cause could be an incorrectly attached boot liner, which can come loose, creating the risk of accidents for motorists following the vehicle. In the same month, another 11,688 electric vehicles were recalled due to front windshield wiper problems. In April, Tesla recalled 3,878 pickup trucks due to sticky accelerator pedals. In January, the recall was caused by the font on the Cybertruck’s warning lights. This was found to be incorrect, making it difficult for drivers to read important safety information on the dashboard.
