The star of Arab romantic song reveals some surprises that she has in store for the public for her fourth participation in Mawazine, placed this year under the sign of “diversity and celebration”, as well as her attachment to this festival as a important step in his journey as an artist.
1- Your “comeback” is eagerly awaited in Mawazine. What is your feeling before meeting the Moroccan public on stage for the inaugural concert?
This is my fourth participation in this important festival. I approach this edition with great enthusiasm. I can’t wait to return to the stage in Morocco and meet the Moroccan public. I find him very warm, very special. He vibrates and gives me a lot of positive energy on stage. For my part, I have surprises in store for him: a Moroccan song and many other surprises to discover during the concert.
2- Where do you get this attachment to the Mawazine festival?
Mawazine is an important step in the artist’s career. I consider that participating today in an international festival means having an appreciation from the public towards the artist. Audiences differ from one country to another and it’s good to meet them to find out their musical preferences, and therefore enrich your repertoire.
3-How do you view the return of the Mawazine festival after four years of absence due to the Covid pandemic?
After four years, it’s a return to life. There was a lot of courage to organize this international festival with so many artists. Bravo to Morocco and thank you to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for His encouragement, His support and the great concern with which He surrounds the artists.
I wish success and good luck to all the invited artists. I hope it’s going to be a big comeback.
