The representative office of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) on Friday, March 4, stated that the Ukrainian military carried out six attacks on five settlements of the republic.
“As a result of the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Pervomaisk, 4 housing constructions were damaged. In Berezovsky, a residential building was damaged and an outbuilding was destroyed. In the village of Zolote-5, 2 apartment buildings were damaged, 13 apartments were damaged. The 330 kV high-voltage line was also damaged, ”the Telegram message says.

The day before, it was reported that the Ukrainian military carried out four attacks on four settlements of the LPR.
Also, as a result of shelling on the Golubovskoye-Kirovsk highway, two 15-year-old teenagers were injured of varying severity.
On March 2, the LPR announced damage to 12 houses as a result of shelling.
A day earlier, damage was reported to two residential buildings and a power line in the village of Kirovsk in the LPR as a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops using the Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS).
On February 24, Russia launched an operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass. The Ukrainian authorities accused the Russian Federation of hitting its military infrastructure, martial law was introduced throughout the country. Kyiv also severed diplomatic relations with Moscow and recalled its diplomats from the embassy.
Prior to that, on February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees recognizing the independence of the DPR and LPR, as well as agreements on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance with the republics. The documents were ratified the next day.
The head of state made the relevant decisions against the backdrop of the aggravation of the situation in Donbass that began on February 17. The DPR and LPR reported heavy shelling by Ukrainian security forces, including from heavy weapons. The republics announced a general mobilization and evacuation of civilians to the territory of Russia.
