In the last few hours, Marcel Reinosa, manager of El Taiger, confirmed that the artist remains fighting for his life, in critical condition, after having received a bullet wound to the head.

In a conversation between Reinosa and Enrique Santos, the manager commented that the artist’s life hangs by a thread, in addition to confessing that, at first, it was difficult to confirm that he was admitted to the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
“They didn’t want to give us information either,” he said, adding that it was an attempted homicide and, therefore, it is an extremely sensitive issue.
It turned out that the vehicle in which El Taiger was found belonged precisely to the manager. “Right now no one has even been able to see it. They shot him in the front of the head and it came out through the right side,” he said.
“The part of the brain that recognizes people and memory is intact until now, it is still a miracle that he has survived, that he is alive, he is fighting for his life right now”he pointed out.
Likewise, Reinosa stated that a suicide attempt by the singer was completely ruled out.
On the other hand, he assured that the police continue to carry out investigations and that, currently, there is a person under scrutiny. Logically, he could not give further details regarding that point.
“We have to wait, it is a waiting game right now, no one can say predict, because the last thing that is lost is faith”he added.
The news that José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar, known in the artistic world as El Taiger, was known this Thursday, raising alarms not only among the authorities, but also among other Cuban and local entertainment personalities.
It is expected that, in the next few hours, new details in this regard will come to light.
