AEK, after the victory in the derby against Panathinaikos, made another comeback, when Panaitolikos beat them in Agrinio 1-0. Miguel Luis is the scorer of Yannis Petrakis’ team.
AEK suffered their first defeat in the Stoiximan Super League, as Panaitolikos prevailed 1-0 in Agrinio. Miguel Luis was the executor of the Union.

The first half ended with AEK in possession and both teams had the same number of finals. Yellow and black also called for Pereira to be penalized for marking Chavez, but the referee and VAR agreed that there is nothing in the game.
The yellow and black had a chance to score in the second half, but Panaitolikos found the goal with Miguel Luis in the 72nd minute. Mavria made a nice rise from the right and turned at the height of the penalty. Miguel Luis drove in a single and scored. A stage where the Union was temporarily down to ten players as Vida had bled for the second time while being treated by the medical team.
AEK remained at 14 points, while Panaitolikos continues high, as it rose to 11 points.
Union possession in the first part, balance in the finals
AEK went into the game with the ball at their feet and Panaitolikos stayed, well anchored at the back. The first goal of the game was Dias’ shot from long range that went wide.
The Union came close to making it 1-0 a minute later when Coita fed Pineda from inside the area, but Mexico’s shot went wide. Liavas made the first shot on goal in the 13th minute, but Strakosa had no problem blocking the ball, controlling its course.
After 15′, AEK applied their pace and created scoring opportunities. In the 18th minute, Koita brilliantly avoided Sielis with an apron and headed into the area, but Stagić neutralized his effort from a difficult angle. Moments later Piero headed the ball just wide after a sweet cross from Rota.
In the 25th minute, the yellow and black asked for a penalty for the fall of Pereira in the area after marking Chavez. Poulikidis indicated that the game should continue and the VAR, after checking the phase, agreed with him.
The yellow and black threatened in the 32nd minute with a nice long shot by Pineda, but the ball went just wide. In the 42nd minute, Matias Almeida’s players exchanged the ball nicely in the area, Rota found himself in a shooting position but was stopped by Pantelakis. The last good moment of the second half was a powerful shot from Dias from inside the area, with the ball going wide.
Miguel Luis forced her in the first loss
In the second half, both teams came in strongly and each had good chances. Lomonaco forced Strakosa away for a corner, and three minutes later Pineda’s shot went narrowly wide with the intervention of Panaitolikos defenders.
In the 57th minute, Koita tried his luck with a free kick that went straight over Chavez’s post. In the 62nd minute, the Union lost perhaps the biggest moment of the game. From a nice cross by Koita, Piero flew into his path and made the projection, but his effort went just wide.
Garcia entered the game in the 66th minute and in his first action attempted a shot from outside the area, which was blocked by Chavez. Three minutes later, Panaitolikos threatened with a nice turn from Miguel Luis and a shot by Lomonaco, which went just wide.
Panaitolikos found the goal with Miguel Luis in the 73rd minute. Mavria advanced nicely from the right and made a nice move in the Strakosa area. Luis, with a nice finish, put the ball into the back of Strakosa’s goal.
Union pushed for an equaliser, had chances to go back, but failed. In the 79th minute, Ljubitzic’s shot went just wide. Two minutes later, Garcia found himself in a shooting position in the area and despite the fact that his teammates were going to pass him, he preferred to shoot, sending the ball wide.
Moments later, Piero sent the ball just wide with a nice backhand shot, with Gacinovic able to touch it. In the 88th minute, Panaitolikos almost scored a second goal with Maindevacs shooting from the semi-circle of the area, but his effort went wide.
In the 90+2′, Gacinovic found himself in a shooting position in the area after Chavez had been cleared, but his effort went wide. Levi Garcia also threatened two headers in the final, but both went wide, with 1-0 remaining at the end.
