The data of the weekly monitoring Institute of Health-Ministry of Health
In the period 9-22 February 2022, the mean Rt calculated on symptomatic cases been equal to 0,75, slightly higher than the 0.73 of the previous week and in any case below the epidemic threshold. The same trend is recorded for the transmissibility index based on cases with hospitalization: Rt = 0.77 (0.75-0.79) as of February 22 compared to Rt = 0.76 (0.74-0.78) to February 15. As emerges from the report of the Higher Institute of Health (Iss), the decline in the weekly incidence at the national level also continues: 433 per 100 thousand inhabitants (in the period February 25-March 3) compared to 552 per 100 thousand inhabitants (in the period 18-24 February).
All regions / autonomous provinces are classified as low risk for Covid-19: eight report at least a single resilience alert, none report multiple.
