Kamala Harris suffers from a telestimulation problem. She lost track briefly during a speech in Michigan.
Vice President Kamala Harris struggled with technical problems during Friday’s speech. At a rally in Michigan, an apparent teleprompter glitch caused her to repeat several sentences multiple times.
Videos of the incident quickly surfaced on Platform X, showing Harris criticizing former President Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance for their record on industrial policy. Harris called Trump “one of the biggest losers in American history.”
During her speech, Harris stopped abruptly and repeated the phrase “32 days” several times, referring to the time left until Election Day on November 5. She continued, “We still have some work to do,” but failed to pick up the thread as she repeated, “32 days.”
Donald Trump drew attention to the incident and made fun of it in a speech in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday afternoon. He emphasized that he himself did not need a teleprompter. At a rally in Michigan the day before, he said: “Isn’t it nice to have a president who doesn’t need a teleprompter?” Ironically, however, the teleprompter itself failed during this speech, after which he jokingly informed his supporters that only a special person could handle such a situation – and so often, it was in asked himself.
As Harris continued his speech, critics quickly seized on the incident and speculated that the teleprompter glitch had caused the retakes. The pro-Trump “War Room” account is on
