The Minister of Budget, Facinet Sylla, has just inaugurated a primary school in the Gadha Wawa district, in the urban commune of Kindia. It is a school rehabilitated in three months thanks to the Kania Diyé Association with funding from the Minister of the Budget. The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of several authorities from the administrative region of Kindia.
It is a school with a building of 5 classrooms which was renovated following a project by the Kania Diyé Association, financed by the Minister of the Budget. In the presence of the Minister of Budget and the administrative authorities of Kindia (prefect, governor, DPE and the president of the special delegation of Kindia), it was M’Balou Fatoumata Savané who read the speech of thanks on behalf of the Association Kania Diyé.
“It is with immense joy and deep gratitude that we gather today to celebrate the reopening of our school, of exchanges and dreams for our children. First of all, allow me to express my gratitude to those who contributed to the success of this project. I would like to warmly thank our governor whose endless support and vision have been essential for the renovation of this school. Your commitment to education and your commitment to improving the learning conditions for our children is truly inspiring. We also thank the prefect of Kindia for his support and collaboration throughout this process. His involvement made it possible to mobilize the necessary resources for this project to see the light of day. The same thanks to the Regional Education Inspector of Kindia without forgetting Madam DPE for the efforts made… I cannot end without thanking the main donor of this work because without his contribution the project would not have seen the light of day, I want to name his excellency, Mr. Minister of the Budget, Facinet Sylla, son of Kindia. ”, she said.
The prefect of Kindia, satisfied with the rehabilitation of this school located in the Gadha Wawa district, a locality today very isolated, gave the name of this establishment to General Mamadi Doumbouya, president of the Guinean transition. Which is a satisfaction for the Prefectural Director of Education of Kindia. “I would like, on behalf of all the teachers, students, parents of Kindia students in general and the Gadha Wawa district in particular, to express my gratitude for this gesture. Building a school, it is often said, is like closing a prison door. Today, the children of Gadha Wawa and surrounding areas are blessed with an infrastructure that meets the standards of a school. On behalf of the Minister of Pre-university Education and Literacy, who is unable to attend, I sincerely thank our generous donor, Mr. Facinet Sylla, Minister of the Budget. I congratulate the nationals of Kania and the workers who were able to support the efforts to build this infrastructure. Finally, allow me to express to you the determination of the DPE to preserve this school so that it can serve generations. », promised Madame Arabé Condé, Prefectural Director of Education of Kindia.
For his part, the Minister of Budget, Facinet Sylla, said this: “This school is built through voluntary contributions. It wasn’t just one person who built it. All Kania’s sons contributed. I thank everyone who put a franc into the construction of this school. If someone starts a good idea, many people will follow you to make that thing happen. But when it’s a bad idea too, you’ll get a lot of people too. So, let’s have good ideas to move our country forward, in particular the Kindia prefecture. It’s the school that changes a person’s life. It is the school that can take someone from the hamlets to introduce them to the world. If you want a good life, send your children to school. It is this school that gives us friends. So send your children to school. Above all, send the girls to school. If you send a girl to school, you have brought the whole family out of darkness. I ask the entire population to take care of this establishment,” adds the Minister of the Budget.
