On the weekend celebrating 19 years since the renovation of the current building, Teatro Virgínia presents two shows for children, free entry, which will take place in the black box at Central do Caldeirão. Capacity is limited and tickets must be collected in advance at the Teatro Virginia box office. On October 12, Saturday, at 11 am, «For example, OvO», with Beatriz Pereira and Carolina, will take place. It is a children’s play that reflects on different ways of thinking, feeling and living as if they were cooking recipes. What exactly is a recipe? Do recipes have a memory? Can we create recipes for when we feel like asking questions? How many recipes fit within the word recipe? In this fictional space, where imagination is the main character, we imagine what things would be like if they were not the way they are, we ask questions and take alternatives with a good dose of hunger and creativity. Beatriz Pereira is a dancer and choreographer. Born in Torres Novas, she graduated in Contemporary Dance in 2021. Carolina Sendim, born in Viana do Castelo, is an artist licensed by the Escola Superior de Dança, Lisbon and the Stockholm University of the Arts, Stockholm. On Sunday, October 13, at the same time, it is time «Arvore Menina», produced by Wetumtum. The Girl Tree, inhabited by so many flowers, fruits and animals, wishes to grow and continue to sing and enchant the gardens, parks and forests of planet Earth. To do this, he needs the care of his good friend Arbusto Buxo who takes care of all Nature together with his Ábaco Bacano. Together, with many other songs and experiments, the Girl Tree and the Bosca-Tor will teach the little ones to take care of the most precious thing we have: life!
