Opening a training program to develop work in youth care centers

Within the framework of efforts to develop the competence of youth, the Ministry of Youth of the National Unity Government opened, on Sunday, the activities of the training program to develop and raise the competence of cadres working in youth care centers held in the capital, Tripoli.

Directors and members of the centers in the municipalities of: Zuwara, Jado, Abu Salim, Tarhuna, Bani Walid, Wadi Al-Bawanis, Al-Jufra, and Murzuq participated in the training.

The official page of the Ministry of Youth stated today, Monday, “The training sessions for the first days of the program included a group of important topics, as they addressed the importance of youth work and comprehensive youth participation, in addition to team-building activities and enhancing communication between participants, as well as providing a training session on how to manage funds.” Non-profit, which is an essential aspect of achieving the centers’ financial sustainability.”

The Ministry added: “In the aspect of empowering youth, the role of youth centers was discussed in the aspect that enables and represents youth through these centers, as they are a vital platform for enhancing youth participation in society and developing their skills.”

She concluded by noting that “through this program, it seeks to achieve its goals in developing the field of youth work at the local level and enhancing the capabilities of workers in the centers, which contributes to improving work and building a more interactive and positive youth society.”
