Province of Chtouka-Aït Baha: more than 71 MDH from the INDH to support schooling

According to data from the Social Action Division of this province, this budget envelope made it possible to finance actions which focused on the social aspect, in particular through the improvement of schooling conditions in the various municipalities of the province, promoting access to school and preschool education, as well as supporting the schooling of vulnerable categories.

Support for the schooling of children from disadvantaged families consisted, among other things, of providing them with school bags, as well as textbooks and school supplies, as part of the “One million school bags” operation, which a budget of 31.6 MDH was allocated and which benefited more than 324,000 students in the province.

In addition, 14 MDH were mobilized for the creation of 94 units of preschool education in several municipalities, adds the same source, noting that these projects have given new impetus to this type of education in the province.

The INDH also dedicated 13.4 million dirhams to support school transport, particularly for the benefit of rural girls, as well as 10.4 million dirhams for the construction and equipment of several social establishments, including student houses and of the student, as well as the extension of several boarding schools.

These various social projects linked to the education sector were launched by the provincial authorities, in partnership with a certain number of actors at the level of local authorities, the services of the supervisory department and the associative fabric.
