In a different mood, the leading players of the Latvian national team came to the second match of this autumn. The coaches, led by Paolo Nicolato, have only a couple of days to tune the team on a single note before important battles in the UEFA Nations League. Compared to the September convocation, this time the team does not include goalkeeper Nilas Tomas Puriņas, midfielders Eduards Emš and Mārtiņa Ķiguras, who did not participate in the last matches of their represented clubs due to injuries, as well as defenders Vyacheslav Isaev, Kirill Iļjin and the second leading striker of the league, Marko Režas. In their place, the experienced central defenders Antonijs Chernomordys and Vitalijs Jagodinskis, whose fit in the team had complaints from the previous national team coach Dainis Kazakevičas, as well as potential debutants goalkeeper Krišjānis Zviedris and striker Dario, have returned to the team.
