The body of Sri Lankan footballer Yogendra Ducson Piuslas, who died in the Maldives, was laid to rest today at Annar’s residence in Jaffna.

Many people attended and paid homage to the late football player.

Following this, the body was taken to Mannar, the birthplace of Annar.

Annar’s body will be laid to rest in Mannar tomorrow and will be taken in procession on Sunday the next day to pay homage.

His body will be laid to rest at the Mannar Public Cemetery on Monday the 7th.

Yogendra Ducson Piusless, a member of the Sri Lankan football team in 2020, is a talented backfield player.

Born in Panangatty Kottu village, Mannar, he initially played for Wennappuwa New Youngs Football Club.
