Ifrane: Royal gift to the chorfas of Sidi Abdeslam Ben Yacoub
Ifrane – A royal commission proceeded, Wednesday, to the delivery of a royal donation to the chorfas of the Sidi Abdeslam Ben Yacoub mausoleum (province of Ifrane), as part of the commemoration of the 24th anniversary of the disappearance of the late HM Hassan II , may God rest His soul.
The royal donation ceremony took place in the presence of the governor of the province of Ifrane, Abdelhamid El Mazid, the president of the local Ulema Council, the provincial delegate of Islamic Affairs, heads of external services, elected officials , representatives of local authorities and the chorfas of the Sidi Abdeslam Ben Yacoub mausoleum.
On this occasion, the Yacoubiyines chorfas expressed their deep gratitude for the High Royal Solicitude and reiterated their unwavering attachment to the glorious Alawite Throne.
At the end of this ceremony, the audience read verses from the Holy Quran and implored the Almighty to preserve His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine, to grant long life and health to the Sovereign, to guide His not and to crown with success His tireless actions in the service of the development and progress of the Kingdom, and to fulfill Him in the persons of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and all the members of the ‘Illustrious royal family.
Prayers were also raised for the repose of the souls of the late sovereigns the late Mohammed V and the late Hassan II.
