In conversation with Radio FM Quiero from Antofagasta, the head of state assured that he was “calm” about the matter. However, he requested that “Everything is investigated.”
In that sense, the president stated: “Irina released a statement categorically ruling out having participated in irregular financingmaking transparent his salary that he received for working. But everything needs to be investigated.”
To which he added: “I have peace of mind and I sleep peacefully that we never did irregular financing.”.

To close, Gabriel Boric stressed that “As president I will not allow any act of corruption anywhere.”as we have been with the Covenants Case from minute one. “I’m not talking about moral standards, what’s important is how one reacts to crimes and alleged crimes.”
