(24 News) The anti-terrorism court of Islamabad approved the physical remand of Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Imran Khan, for two more days in the case of protest at D Chowk.
Anti-terrorism judge Abul Hasanat Zul-Qarnain heard the case, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan were produced in the court on completion of one-day physical remand in the D Chowk protest case.
On this occasion, Tehreek-e-Insaf’s lawyers, Prosecutor Rajnaveed appeared in the court, Prosecutor Raja Naveed requested for 10-day physical remand of Uzma Khan, Aleema Khan.
Prosecutor Raja Naveed pleaded that Uzma Khan, Aleema Khan had encouraged the workers to protest over the megaphone, both of them asked to pelt stones at the police, injuring the policemen.
During the hearing, Prosecutor Raja Naveed further said that mobile phones were recovered from Uzma Khan, Aleema Khan, with which videos were made. He said that the agitation was spread and a conspiracy was hatched under a complete plan.
Faisal Fareed Chaudhry, on behalf of the accused, started the arguments and said that we had requested the court for a medical check-up, the medical reports have not been submitted to the court yet.
Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain of the Anti-Terrorism Court inquired whether anything was recovered from Uzma Khan, Aleema Khan. On which the prosecutor Raja Naveed said that Uzma Khan, Alimah Khan are named in another registered case in Abpara police station.

Lawyer Niazullah Niazi gave arguments and said that at the time of arrest, Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan had nothing, I am on bail the day after tomorrow, I don’t know what will happen to me, cases are being filed against lawyers under the Terrorism Act. are
The Anti-Terrorism Court reserved its decision on the plea of physical remand of Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan. Later, Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zul-Qarnain gave a safe verdict and granted the 2-day physical remand of Imran Khan’s sisters.
It should be noted that a case has been registered against Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan under terrorism provisions in Kohsar police station. In view of PTI’s announcement of a protest at D Chowk in the red zone of Islamabad on October 4, all the roads of the federal capital were blocked with containers and so far 30 people, including the sisters of founder chairman PTI Imran Khan, have been arrested. The persons were arrested from D Chowk.
