/ The draw for the 2024 Copa America Football Championship, on Friday, pitted strong teams against each other in the group stage.
The draw was held in the city of Miami, which will be held in the United States of America next summer, with the participation of 16 teams, according to Western media.
The draw witnessed the exclusion of Argentina and Brazil from the qualifying rounds, and the two ancient teams will only meet in the final match.
The draw for the group stage placed Argentina, the defending champion, in Group A, accompanied by Peru, Chile, and the winner of the CONCACAF play-off between Canada and Trinidad and Tobago, while the Brazilian team was in Group D, next to Colombia, Paraguay, and Jamaica.
The home team, the American team, finished in the third group, accompanied by Uruguay, Panama, and Bolivia, and the Mexican team came in the second group, alongside Ecuador, Venezuela, and the winner of the CONCACAF playoff between Honduras and Costa Rica.
