Jeddah: The number of new Kovid patients in Saudi Arabia continues to decline significantly. A total of 283 new patients and 525 cures were reported. This brings the total number of Kovid cases reported in the country so far to 7,47,119 and the number of cases to 7,26,876. No deaths were newly reported. This brings the total death toll in the country to 9,006.
Currently, 11,237 people are being treated for the disease. Of these, 443 are in critical condition. They have been admitted to the intensive care units of various hospitals across the country. In Saudi Arabia, the current Kovid release rate is 97.29 percent and the death rate is 1.20 percent.
Number of newly reported cases in major cities of the country: Riyadh 75, Jeddah 31, Ta’if 17, Dammam 17, Madinah 15, Makkah 11, Abha 10, Hufof 10. So far 6,12,90,354 dosvid vaccines have been distributed in Saudi Arabia. Of these, 2,00,11,543 were the first dose, 2,42,67,841 the second dose and 1,00,10,970 the booster dose.
