The journey begins in Vienna, the capital of Austria and a world-class city of music! First, take Tram 1, which goes around Vienna’s important scenic spots, and take in the magnificent and splendid cityscape in every alley. After passing through Kärntner Strasse, we arrived at St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom). In front of the cathedral where Mozart’s wedding and funeral were held, Mozart’s representative song, Serenade No. 13, A Little Night’s Music, is hummed.
Vienna is a place full of the brilliant legacies of the Habsburg Dynasty, which had a long-lasting influence on European history, along with the title of ‘City of Music’. At Schönbrunn Palace, which represents this area, you can see gorgeous rooms that have been maintained almost as they were in their original appearance.
The next destination was the Vienna State Opera House (Wiener Staatsoper), which is considered one of the world’s three largest opera houses, along with Paris and Milan. Kalin Park enjoys the view while sitting in the audience seat of an elaborately built theater. Kalin Park’s childhood memories of Gustav Mahler, who served as conductor of the Vienna State Opera House for a long time, are also brought out. Mahler, who had made a name for himself as a famous conductor in Vienna but wanted to compose more, bought a house on the shores of Lake Attersee. Gustav Mahler’s composition hut (Gustav Mahler-Komponierhäuschen), where he dedicated himself to composing for the rest of his life. I feel Mahler’s breath buried in a small single room, even if only for a moment.

We arrived at Wachau, which boasts beautiful scenery, along the Danube River that flows through Austria. In particular, the terraced vineyards receive abundant sunlight, making it one of the highest-quality wines in Europe. What does the Wachau wine you drink after a difficult climb up a steep slope taste like?

Austria, where the Alps make up two-thirds of the country. Head to Schafberg, where you can enjoy the Alps even more specially. They say there is a steam-powered mountain train in operation here! The sound of a train emitting steam and roaring adds romance to the trip. We arrived at the summit of Schafberg Mountain after climbing a winding mountain path. A movie with the Alps spread out in all directions The lyrics of the song come out naturally. St. Wolfgang, a small village arrived from the picturesque Alps. Every summer night, the village is in a festive mood. Kalin Park’s brilliant European journey ends with a warm time with the exciting residents.
