It shares the mechanical base and much of the design and interior with the Duster. Above front only the bumper and fog light frame change; equal the retrowhere the original “Y mounted” lights stand out. Rear doors go longer as a result of the larger (increases of 4 cm degreethe distance between the centers of the wheels) and, above all, a rear apron that is 19 cm high. The car waits proportionatewith the attractive plastic protections in the lower part of the body which give a “off road” look.. And it’s not just a matter of style: the car is 22 cm off the ground (one more than the Duster) and easily goes over rough surfaces.
It is richer INSIDE – Also a good part of the interior of the Great Dacia that reminds the Duster: the panel and all the panels are in rigid plastic, but still well put together. And the modern and “edgy” design adds to them. The central display, focused on the driver, remains 10.1″: it is easy to read, has a good resolution and is responsive when executing commands. It is accompanied by an unreleased song digital panel of the same size (as opposed to the “standard” one of 7″). The “piano” keys are well placed for the “climate”, can be found automatically for the first time on Dacia buffalo (the large glass sunroof is also being done). Practical and easy to achieve smartphone holder on the left side of the “touch” screen (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are wireless as standard).

Even those who sit in the middle, even if they are tall, have space for their head, knees and feet: the tunnel in the floor is not very cumbersome, and the same can be said for the central cabinet (which has two “climate fans” and two USB-C sockets for charging). It’s just a shame the hands in the ceiling are missing. The back of the sofa is in three parts, which can also be lowered with convenient levers in the walls of the sofa trunk. Through the reclining central part, four people can travel comfortably, load long things and form armrest large (but not covered) with two drink holders and the same number supports which allows you to use it smartphone not to hold in your hand. The trunk has an impressive capacity: with all the seats in use and loaded up to the sunroof, it holds 667 litres, 150 more than in the Duster. The system is ingenious YouClipbe fixed in several points (in the dashboard, in the passenger console, in the rear part of the central console and in the trunk) accessories as a jacket holder, a tablet holder or the “3 in 1” kit (with drink holder, bag hanger and LED light integrated in one element).
HYBRID ONLY (PURE GPL) – To the Great Dacia No diesel versions are planned, only petrol hybrids. The mild hybrid they are 1.2 three-cylinder turbos, and the electric motor provides 48 volts for starting and acceleration; the battery is 0.8 kWh, the manual transmission six gears. The 1.2 is also available with LPG, with a 49-litre gas tank, or in combination with all-wheel drive (with 130 hpand in other cases there are 140). The Big Man full hybridthe only one with a robotized gearbox, instead it is powered by a four-cylinder paired with two electric motors (high voltage starter and traction motor 50 HP) and a 1.4 kWh battery. Compared to the full hybrid Duster, the petrol engine goes from 1.6 to 1.8 (piston stroke increases) and has an additional 14 horsepower: 155 CV in everything.
