Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister and JMM working president Hemant Soren will hold a meeting with top JMM leaders on October 14 regarding preparations for the assembly elections and seat distribution. In this meeting, he will discuss about contesting elections together with Congress–RJD and ML and distribution of seats between them.
In the year 2019 also, JMM had contested the elections along with Congress and RJD, but this time Hemant Soren wants to include the Left party in the alliance so that the opposition votes are not divided.
Demand for more seats from Congress and RJD
On the other hand, Congress and RJD are demanding more seats than in 2019, whereas seats have to be taken out among these three parties and given to the Left party. In such a situation, we will talk to senior JMM leaders and discuss coordination with allies and seat sharing.
