Mannar people pay homage to footballer Tucson Piuslas

Colombo (News 1st) The body of Sri Lankan footballer Yogendra Ducson Pius, who died in the Maldives, has been laid to rest at Annar’s residence in Mannar.

The body was taken to Mannar last night (04) at Annar’s residence in Jaffna.

On this occasion, a large number of people paid their last respects.

Large numbers of motor vehicles, motorcycles, three-wheelers and the general public marched in honor of Annar’s corpse.

On the way from Jaffna to Mannar, footballers and members of the public from Poonakary, Mulankavil, Devanpitiya, Vidathal Island, Andangulam and Adampan paid their respects in tears.
