The British company “Atrian PLC” revealed the discovery of a huge wealth of precious copper in an Arab country.

The British company “Atrian PLC” announced results that it described as “encouraging,” within the framework of the results of its “Jebelet East” copper project, in Morocco.”

She added: “The project is located about 35 kilometers northeast of the city of Marrakesh, and 15 kilometers from the railway line leading to the coastal city of Casablanca.”

The company indicated that “its recent work resulted in the discovery of several new areas rich in minerals, including a sample containing 9.25% copper, explaining that it was obtained from a previously unexplored area, which confirms the high quality of the samples that were discovered.” Previously by the company.

“We are excited to announce new encouraging copper results from recent field work at Gablet East, including the identification of targets for quartz-carbonate veins under a thin soil cover,” said company president Charles Bray.

He noted that “initial indicators indicate” the possibility of the presence of a wide package of veins reaching 120 meters within the “Jeblait East” project area.

According to the British company, “the most prominent recent discoveries are related to quartz carbonate veins containing up to 9.25% of copper at the level of prominent isolated veins within an area covered with thin soil. New veins were also found containing up to 2.09%.” And 0.88% of copper, which the company tracked intermittently over a length of 450 metres.”

The company added, “The priority quartz carbonate vein area has been expanded to a lateral distance of about 250 meters to reach 3.25 kilometers, as the new discoveries showed up to 0.56% copper, while previous samples showed up to 4.43% copper.” Several veins appeared on the surface with an area of up to 120 meters within the sediments or pediment cover surrounding the main area of the veins.”

The British company confirmed that “a ground magnetic survey will be conducted on the priority targets in the “Jebleet East” project, during the fourth quarter of 2024, using the “Gem Systems Overview Magnetometer,” which will be acquired by the company, noting that the survey will be carried out. By an internal team with international experience.”

It is noteworthy that the “Jeblait East” project, which is located 15 kilometers east of the historic “Bir El Nahhas” copper mine, and 14 kilometers north of the company’s silver-lead project “Jafra,” covers an area of 73.6 square kilometers, an area considered to have great potential for discovery. Massive volcanic sulphide deposits, base metals and copper deposited in veins.
