The Revolutionary Guards in Iran this morning (Saturday) uncovered two missile bases and underground UAVs, this is the first time that Iran has uncovered secret bases of this type on its own initiative, according to a report in News 12.

According to the report, the bases – located in underground tunnels in the heart of a high mountainous area, contain surface-to-surface missiles with advanced precision systems as well as offensive UAVs “designed to penetrate beyond the enemy’s radar and defense systems.”

The UAV states that the UAVs, with a range of about 2,000 kilometers and advanced missile launch capabilities, are an example of “the incredible effectiveness of the Iranian nation’s defense systems.”

The sites were unveiled during a tour by Revolutionary Guards Commander Hussein Salami and Revolutionary Guards Air Force Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh. The site unveiling event comes close to marking “Revolutionary Guards Day” in Iran.
