Ranchi: The political turmoil has intensified in Jharkhand, where Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s wife and JMM MLA Kalpana Soren has made scathing attacks on BJP state president Babulal Marandi. This altercation started after Marandi’s statement in which he alleged that Kalpana Soren was upset with BJP’s ‘Gogo Didi Scheme’. Kalpana Soren hit back at Babulal Marandi and said that she was forced to enter politics. He accused Marandi of insulting a woman on the holy occasion of Navratri.

Had to enter politics due to dictatorship

Kalpana Soren said – ‘My name is Kalpana Murmu Soren, respected Babulal ji! Apart from being the wife of Hemant ji, I also represent the great people of Gandey. Before this, I was a teacher who did not want to enter politics but was forced to do so due to your dictatorship. But it is a matter of shame that on one hand the entire country is worshiping Goddess Durga, the embodiment of female power, during Navratri and on the other hand you are making base comments insulting a woman. I pray to Mata Rani to improve your thinking, wisdom and ideology.

Babulal accused Hemant Soren of propaganda

In fact, Babulal Marandi had said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife Kalpana Soren were upset after seeing the increasing popularity of ‘Gogo Didi Scheme’. He alleged that Hemant Soren is propagating this scheme and intimidating BJP workers by using the government machinery. Babulal Marandi said that BJP workers are not afraid of Hemant Soren and the public will answer him in the coming time.

In this way, the war of words between the ruling party and the opposition has intensified in Jharkhand. It remains to be seen which direction it takes in the coming days.
