Sharjah: A missing Malayalee student was found in Sharjah yesterday. Karthik, a resident of Al Nahda, went missing on Saturday morning. The family had requested help to locate the child. Karthik was found in the middle of the night. Al Jafiliya police reported the discovery of the child. Karthik, who is unable to speak, was leaving home in the morning.
Kovid lifts security restrictions in Saudi Arabia, no more masks and quarantines
Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has lifted its Kovid security restrictions. Avoid wearing masks and social distance and wearing masks outdoors in the open. However, masks should be worn indoors.
Those who have not completed the Kovid vaccine doses are exempted from hotel and home quarantines upon entering Saudi Arabia. Negative PCR or antigen test result is no longer required to enter the country. The social distance between the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and the Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah and other mosques in the country was avoided. But in these places it is mandatory to wear a mask. The exemptions announced by the Home Ministry have already come into effect. Visitors to the country on a visitor’s visa must have the necessary insurance for the treatment of Kovid disease.
The working hours of Ramadan have been announced for government agencies in the UAE
Abu Dhabi: The UAE government has announced the official working hours of the month of Ramadan for government ministries and federal authorities in the UAE. Accordingly, the official working hours in Ramadan will be from Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 2.30 pm and on Fridays from 9 am to 12 noon.
Flexible and remote working methods will be allowed for sitting and working in residential areas on Fridays. This will depend on the decisions made in this regard. About 40 per cent of the total employees will be allowed to work from such residences. Those who work from home must have completed the specific tasks that they have to complete. The authorities will find out what are the tasks that can be sanctioned and what are the duties that can be fulfilled in them.
