Followers of the Cuban artist The Taiger They have paid tribute to him after confirming that he died this Thursday at Jackson Memorial Hospital after being hospitalized for a week due to being shot in the head.
Fans of the Antillean singer’s music have gathered at the place where he was found injured, turning it into an improvised memorial, according to Cuban journalist Daniel Benítez for Univisión 23.
Likewise, dozens of followers of The Taiger They have gathered outside Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami to pay tribute to the artist.
Attendees have brought candles, stuffed animals, and flowers to decorate the space where followers are moved by what happened and remember the singer with affection.
“What happened to him is not fair, this is not believed,” said one of the followers present at the place to pay tribute to El Taiger.
Likewise, there were others who urged the authorities to find the whereabouts of the person or persons responsible for this event in which the Cuban artist was involved.
“Let them do their job,” said another attendee in a message to the Miami Police.
It is worth mentioning that it was this Thursday, October 10, when the Cuban artist José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar was declared dead after several days hospitalized for a wound caused by a gunshot to the head.
The situation left the island’s artistic world in mourning, and his musical colleagues did not take long to react to the death of the Cuban musician, regretting his sudden departure.
Artists such as Gente de Zona, La Diosa, Leoni Torres, El Chacal, among others, have left emotional messages on their social networks saying goodbye to El Taiger.
Likewise, personalities such as Ana María Polo, better known as “Doctor Polo” have demanded that justice be done in the case of El Taiger.
For the moment, the Miami Police are still searching for a subject considered to be of “interest” in the case and who would be one of the last people who saw José Manuel alive.
