The Office added that the second project, whose operation began on September 23, concerns the construction and equipment of a new water borehole in Tissaf to supply the inhabitants of Outat El Haj with water. drinking water after ensuring the quality of its water. This drilling will, according to the same source, produce a flow rate of up to 10 liters/second.
These operations, carried out in coordination with the Sebou Hydraulic Basin Agency, are part of the Office’s continued efforts to mitigate the effects of successive years of drought, which these regions have experienced due to the lack of precipitation.
According to the press release, these projects, which have made it possible to meet the demand for drinking water in these localities, should also contribute to improving the living conditions of the populations.
