The exercise has been held since this morning and is attended by all relevant parties in the Rehovot Municipality: from Mayor Rahamim Malul, CEO Meir Dahan, all department heads and all relevant emergency workers. The exercise was also joined by Sen. Dudi Maron, commander of the Rehovot police and his representatives, Home Front Command commanders who accompany the city in an emergency, and also participated in the exercise.
The exercise is led by the Emergency and Security Department of the Rehovot Municipality with all the relevant officials.

The exercise began with a gathering in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood, where, according to the scenario, they imagined the collapse of a building, including casualties and trapped people, and damage to buildings.
As part of the exercise, all the consequences were examined, and an HFK was established in the field. As part of the exercise, heavy mechanical tools were brought to the site for the purpose of assisting in the rescue and evacuation, and information and assistance bureaus were opened for the local residents.
At the end of the day, all parties will gather to summarize things, draw conclusions and draw lessons.

Mayor Rahamim Malul noted: “Recently, there have been minor earthquakes in Israel, so we have decided to train all forces for such a scenario. This is so that we can maintain as normal a routine of life as possible even in an emergency. “
