Ravichandran Ashwin, a senior Indian cricketer and top spinner in contemporary cricket, took 430 wickets in 84 Tests and played his first Test against Sri Lanka as the 85th Test.

Ashwin is the fourth highest wicket-taker in international Test cricket, behind Sri Lanka’s Rangana Herath (433). In the top 3 are 3 legend spinners Muttiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne and Anil Kumble respectively.
