Books, brochures, propaganda materials related to the history, culture, literature, tourism potential of Azerbaijan and other areas were donated to the People’s Library of Manisa (Turkey).

As Day.Az reported on Friday, the books were presented at a meeting of the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Culture and Solidarity of Azerbaijan Manisa Shentyurka Khoshgul with the head of the Manisa Culture Department Ibrahim Sudak and director of the People’s Library of Manisa Aishin Kibrit.

Şentürk Hoşgül emphasized the importance of this initiative.

The head of the Manisa Culture Department, Ibrahim Sudak, thanked the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of Azerbaijan for the books donated to the library.

He expressed confidence that cultural cooperation between the two fraternal countries will contribute to strengthening ties between the two peoples and the exchange of cultural wealth.

Let us recall that in August of this year, during a meeting at the State Committee with the head of the Association, who was on a visit to Azerbaijan, an initiative was put forward to create an Azerbaijani corner in the People’s Library of the city of Manisa and to popularize Azerbaijan there. In this regard, the State Committee, along with books, presented the guest with teaching aids for studying the Azerbaijani language, national costumes and state flags of the Republic of Azerbaijan in various sizes.

The local press also widely covered the donation of books related to Azerbaijan to the Manisa People’s Library.
