The aromas of the regional products and the lilting accent almost make you forget it, it is in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine) that these producers from the south-west have set up their stand for the 14th edition of the producers of the Lot region ‘ market. Foie gras, duck breast, lavender, Bigorre pork, beef… throughout the weekend visitors were able to fill their shopping bags with products offered for direct sale by 45 producers, most of them from the Lot but also coming from around fifteen other departments such as Aveyron, Corrèze or Dordogne.
This market which takes place every autumn in Boulogne-Billancourt has become an obligatory event for the inhabitants of the largest city in the department and its surroundings. “I come every year to do at least four or five stands, I take this opportunity to stock up. I am attracted by the quality of certain products that cannot be found elsewhere, but also by the absence of intermediaries and the possibility of interacting directly with the producer. We know where it comes from! » confides Agnès, a fifty-year-old spender.
