The Queen of England leaves the palace and changes address

by time news

It has been two years since the 96-year-old Queen of England spent time at the Palace of London. Since March 2019 it has been housed in Windsor Castle, which will now become its main residence and it will leave the Royal Buckingham Palace. The Daily Mail reported: “The Queen is leaving Buckingham Palace once and for all and will now be working permanently from home in Windsor Castle.”

About two weeks ago, 95-year-old Queen Elizabeth II fell ill in Corona, after her eldest son, Prince Charles, was recently exposed to the virus for the second time. She had already recovered, and against the backdrop of the corona the queen chose not to work from the palace.

The Queen admitted that she “feels fragile” and during a conversation with British Defense Service personnel said that “as can be seen, I can not move”, and she is expected to hold meetings with other official and respected officials at her home in Berkshire.
