On social networks spread statements that Aztelecom LLC fines those who refuses Internet services.
As the institution informed Day.Az on Monday, Aztelecom LLC adheres to the policy of digital transformation of Azerbaijan, expanding digital services, and successfully implementing various telecommunications projects.
“These projects include the installation of new generation equipment, the expansion of the fiber-optic telecommunications network and the creation of a communications infrastructure that meets modern standards. These measures contribute to a more sustainable, secure and high-quality use of the information and telecommunications network by our subscribers.
In continuation of these innovations aimed at improving the quality of our telecommunications services, Aztelecom LLC decided to make changes to the tariffs. These changes were announced through the media 30 days in advance and, in accordance with the law, they came into force on August 15, 2024. The purpose of making these changes to tariffs is to provide our customers with better and more efficient services.
Please note that under the terms of the agreement, equipment and connection are purchased free of charge in exchange for the condition of continuous use by the subscriber for 12 months, which does not contradict the rights of our clients. Only if this condition is violated, responsibility for paying for services and equipment falls on the client (similar subscription conditions apply in many countries around the world).
We would also like to point out that this is in no way a penalty or additional charge for denial of service, but simply the cost of the equipment provided without payment in exchange for the condition of continuous use for 12 months.
Within 30 days from the date of introduction of new tariffs, our previous subscribers were given time to refuse services at their own request. During this time, our subscribers may cancel telecommunications services at any time by submitting a written request in accordance with the terms of the contract.
In this case, the promissory note does not apply and only the ONT equipment issued without payment is required to be returned. And if it is impossible to return the equipment, the subscriber will be charged its cost.
Aztelecom strives to constantly improve the quality of services to ensure more convenient communication and accessibility for our customers. The comfort and satisfaction of our subscribers is our priority.
Thus, the “call center” (170) of our company, which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, accounts on social networks and other communication channels are in constant service to subscribers. Appeals are responded to as quickly as possible, and difficulties faced by clients are promptly resolved,” the statement says.
