At a time when the presidential election race is witnessing decisive battles, US presidential candidate Donald Trump addressed his supporters in California, which is considered one of the most democratic states, expressing his fears that World War III will break out during the next four months due to the policies of the Democrats who run the US government.
Trump said at a rally of his supporters in California on Sunday: “My fear over the next three or four months is that we will end up in a world war because of the people we have in government.”
Trump promised again that if he wins the presidential election, he will be able to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, as well as “stop the chaos in the Middle East.”
Although Trump lost in California in 2020, he received more than 6 million votes, the largest number of votes received by any other Republican candidate, at a time when voting margins exceeded 70% in some rural counties that usually prefer conservative candidates, according to the Associated Press.
In turn, US Vice President Kamala Harris attacked Trump, accusing him of not showing transparency regarding his health, after publishing a private medical report on her health, highlighting the age difference of approximately 20 years between them.
A medical report published by the White House on Saturday stated that Democratic presidential candidate Harris “enjoys excellent health,” as part of her election campaign’s efforts to pressure her Republican rival, Trump, to publish his health record.
In her statement, Harris said, “It is clear to me that Trump and his team do not want the American people to really see what he is doing and to know whether he is truly qualified to be president of the United States or not.”
Harris considered that “Trump is not qualified to exercise this mandate and is unfit for the presidency of the United States.”
For its part, the Trump campaign was quick to respond, saying in a statement that the former president “enjoys perfect and excellent health to be commander-in-chief,” accusing Harris of lacking the strength to lead the country.
