The majority support Bennett’s trip to Putin and Israeli mediation

The last day has been very dramatic in the political field. A Camille Fox poll in News 13 examined what the public thinks about Bennett’s flight to Putin and Schultz, what he thinks about the mediation attempts and Israel’s foreign policy.

The poll asked whether Bennett had acted correctly when he flew to Putin. 48% think that Bennett acted correctly, compared to 34% who think that Bennett did not act correctly. When asked whether Israel should mediate in negotiations, 52% answered that Israel should mediate, compared with 32% who believe that it should not mediate.

When asked by refugees whether Israel should receive refugees from Ukraine, 55% answered yes but with a restriction, compared with 26% who answered yes without restriction and 15% who answered that Israel should not receive refugees. Netanyahu vs. Bennett: When asked who is better suited to conduct Israel’s foreign policy now, 49% answered that Netanyahu is more suitable, compared to 23% who believe that Bennett is more suitable.

Finally, the most dramatic question was asked: fit for prime minister. 50%, half, went with Netanyahu compared to only 20% for Bennett. Deputy Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Lapid won only 17%, and Defense Minister Ganz won 12%.
