MOUILA, October 14, 2024 (AGP) – As part of his making contact tour, the newly installed governor of the province of Ngounié (southern Gabon), Francis Oyinamono, has just visited the provincial headquarters of the Gabonese Press Agency (AGP), we noted.
Accompanied by the secretary general of the province and that of the prefecture, the governor of Ngounié undertook a visit to this structure, under the supervision of the Ministry of Communication, and led by Ghislain Ruffin Etoughet Nzuet.
It was a question for Francis Oyinamono of immersing himself in the working conditions, also the activity carried out there, and the perspectives at the structure level. Because for the latter, it will be a question of supporting the different structures, as much as possible, to improve the quality of service.
For her part, the local manager of the Gabonese Press Agency (AGP), Nancy Tali Ibinda, honored by this visit, took the opportunity to present the AGP website, in particular the “Provinces” section, where information coming from within the country is housed. The “Gabon Matin” product was not on the sidelines.
For the manager, the question of mobility, particularly for travel within departments, represents one of the major difficulties. The latter has, moreover, expressed the wish to the authority that the AGP be invited to the various administrative or official events which require media coverage, as a state press organ.
The Gabonese Press Agency (AGP) is one of the first media outlets to emerge in Gabon, the day after its accession to international sovereignty on August 17, 1960.
