Users of the social media platform Reddit reported outages around the world on Monday, indicating widespread service disruptions. According to the website Downdetector.com, users reported that they were unable to use Reddit on desktop on Monday. There was no immediate comment from Reddit on the cause of the outage. Reports indicate that the issue is related to “No healthy upstream”, and “Upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before header. Reason for reset: Connection failure.” Couldn’t use it. According to Downdetector, more than 200 reports of Reddit outage were filed. Users reported the outage on social media platforms like Facebook and X, with some saying they were waiting for official comment from the company.
This is the third time in three months that Reddit has suffered an outage, following similar reports in August and September. In both cases, the issues were resolved quickly. Later, the company referred to this as “degraded performance for Reddit.” Earlier, the same thing had happened with Meta and Instagram was down. Even after this, many users complained about it on social media. However, it was controlled in time by Meta. Within some time the network was restored again.
X also went down some time ago. People had filed a complaint regarding this also. However, this was also rectified in time. Same thing has happened with Reddit also. Now this platform has been repaired again and is working as before.
