Russia launched a war on Ukraine on the 24th. Russian forces continue to occupy major cities. The Russian military continues to bombard the area. Many areas were badly damaged in the Russian offensive. And many lives have been lost on both sides.
As a result of the fighting between the two countries, nearly 1.5 million people have taken refuge in neighboring countries in 11 days. They have taken refuge in Poland, Romania and Hungary. Due to the ceasefire, it was decided to assist in the second round of talks between Ukraine and Russia in Belarus on humanitarian grounds. Russia has announced a temporary ceasefire to evacuate people from the cities of Volnovaka and Mariupol, but Russia has said it has failed and has now resumed attacks.

Trapped Indian students are being flown by land to neighboring Romania, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, and then flown home. The federal government says 16,000 people have been rescued from more than 60 flights so far.
Harjot Singh, a student from Chattarpur near Delhi, was staying in Kiev when he was traveling with his friends from Kiev to Lviv in a car when he was shot. Meanwhile, Indian Harjot Singh, who was shot dead in Kiev, Ukraine, has been brought to Poland.
