The Mi Band 7 will come with a larger screen and built-in GPS

Xiaomi is expected to announce in a few weeks the annual version of its popular fitness band, Mi Band. Every year to date, Shaumi has managed to upgrade the track specs and maintain a relatively low price, and the company reportedly plans a number of significant improvements to the Mi Band 7.

One of the momentary changes will be the display. The screen should be slightly larger and offer a resolution of 192 × 490 pixels, and offer support for a display that is always active – at least in some designs. In addition, Mi Band 7 will also support a number of new fitness modes, including Zumba training.

The specification is expected to include this time also a built-in GPS receiver that will allow the fitness band to locate its location in real time. Another novelty is a smart alarm clock that can detect a state of deep sleep versus light drowsiness, and wake the user up within 30 minutes before or after the pre-set time so as not to disrupt the normal sleep cycle. Mi Band 7 may also come with a special energy saving mode, for longer battery life than that of previous models.

The official announcement, as mentioned, is expected to take place towards the end of the current month, so it is likely that in a short time Shaumi will start streaming information on the subject through its channels on social networks, as is customary.
