(24 News) A ceremony regarding the completion of New Gwadar International Airport was held in the federal capital Islamabad, in which MoUs were signed between Pakistan and China, 13 MoUs and documents were also exchanged.

The completion ceremony of New Gwadar International Airport was held in the federal capital of Islamabad, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif and Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang attended the ceremony. Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema and China’s Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao exchanged the MoU document related to the handover of the Smart Classrooms project, the MoU related to the minutes of the 13th meeting of the CPEC Joint Coordination Committee (JCC). The document was exchanged by Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Measures Ahsan Iqbal and Vice Chairman of National Development and Reform Commission of China, Liu Sushu, of the MoU related to the 7th meeting of the Joint Working Group on Gwadar under CPEC. The exchange was done by Minister of Planning, Development and Special Measures Ahsan Iqbal and Vice Chairman of China’s National Development and Reform Commission Liu Sushu.

The MoU document related to the production of joint TV programs was exchanged by the Federal Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Ambrin John and the Ambassador of China to Pakistan, Jiang Zhaidong. An exchange agreement was also announced.

Addressing the ceremony, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang said that China will continue to play its role for the development of Pakistan. The completion of Gwadar International Airport is an important milestone. It is a reflection of strong friendship.
