Chennai: Apollo doctor Babu Manohar, who appeared before the Arumugasami Commission, has confessed that Jayalalithaa has refused to rest as she wants to work 16 hours a day.

The Arumugasami Commission of Inquiry into Jayalalithaa’s death summoned the Apollo doctors who treated her. The case was filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of the management of Apollo Hospital as the medical team should inquire into the presence of experts when questioning doctors in this situation.

Due to this, the investigation has not been able to take place for the last 2 years. Meanwhile, a six-member medical panel has been set up on the recommendation of the AIIMS director based on the Supreme Court ruling.
