Member of the famous KVN team “Guys from Baku“, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Bahram Bagirzade shared on his Instagram page details of the meeting with Maxim Nikulingeneral director and artistic director of the Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, as well as the son of a famous actor Yuri Nikulin.
As Day.Az reports, Bahram Bagirzade noted that he had been waiting for this meeting for more than 25 years: “Back in 1997, after my childhood idol, circus actor and great artist Yuri Vladimirovich Nikulin, passed away, I published for the first time in my life the book “Anecdotes from Bakhram” and dedicated it to the blessed memory of my favorite artist. Once I performed in Moscow and went to the circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, left this book at the reception and left.”
The honored artist added that after more than a quarter of a century, a long-awaited meeting with Maxim Nikulin took place in Baku: “I gave him my new book, “The History of the Circus,” which is also dedicated to Yuri Nikulin. Maxim was very glad that people still remember and appreciate him wonderful father.”
Bagirzade expressed gratitude to the Minister of Culture Adil Karimli for organizing this meeting, to which famous circus artists and theater directors from other countries who came to Baku were invited: “It’s hard for me to imagine what amazing circus shows await us in the near future! I’m sure that the Baku The public, especially children who love the circus, will be delighted. For us, circus is no less important art than cinema!”
He also noted: “As they say in Russia: “Live forever, learn forever.” Only today, years later, I learned that the boy from the famous film “The Diamond Arm”, who walked on the sea with a net, and Andrei Mironov, running past , told him “Go away, boy, don’t bother me,” he was the son of Yuri Nikulin Indeed, live forever and learn!”
