BOLZANO. Action against illegal immigration linked to criminal phenomena and, more generally, widespread illegality continues throughout the Province of Bolzano.
Yesterday, during a further phase of operational police activities ordered by order from the Police Commissioner of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano Paolo Sartori and aimed at the prevention and repression of widespread petty crime and various forms of illegality, a patrol of the “Flying” Squad of the State Police identified, in via Macello, a 51 year old Tunisian citizen, HG, known as a violent and dangerous individual, irregular on the territory of the State and with multiple criminal convictions for crimes against property, for an attempted murder that occurred on the Prati del Talvera in March 2022 and for crimes relating to drug dealingalso affected by the Personal Prevention Measure of the Obligatory Street Sheet, with the ban on returning to the Municipality of Bolzano. HG, therefore, was taken to the Largo Palatucci offices for the continuation of the Judicial Police activities.
A few hours later another individual – later identified for this TA, 35-year-old Moroccan citizen convicted for various crimes and definitively convicted of a sexual assault conviction which took place inside a nightclub in Bolzano in 2022 – he was tracked down and taken to the Police Headquarters offices, made available to the Immigration Office.
In consideration of what was found by the State Police agents, of the precedents against them and of the irregularity of their presence on our National Territory, Police Commissioner Sartori immediately issued expulsion decrees with contextual Detention Orders to each of the two arrested persons. at the Repatriation Center in Gradisca d’Isonzo (GO), where they were escorted by Immigration Office staff and where they will remain awaiting repatriation to their respective countries of origin.
“It is essential that the expulsion measures are made effective with the concrete removal from the urban context of those who, as in this case, represent a concrete and current threat to the safety of citizens – highlighted Commissioner Sartori -. This type of Security Police activity to combat widespread crime is aimed at preventing foreign subjects from taking root in our territory, often without the necessary qualifications to reside in our country, who, with their behaviour, as well as the demonstrated lack of the desire to integrate into our Society and to respect our Laws, cause particular social alarm and compromise civil coexistence”.
