A recognition that reinforces the PNCS’s commitment to school feeding in Haiti

The National School Canteen Program (PNCS) proudly announced, via a press note, that it will be the recipient of the prestigious Grand Prix Réserve National, a recognition which testifies to its dedication to school feeding. This distinction will be presented on October 20, 2024 at Quisqueya University, marking a first for the PNCS in its 27 years of existence.

PNCS, which serves more than a million students across the country, has always demonstrated determination and commitment to its mission, the note noted. This recognition will not fail to motivate not only the General Coordinator, but also all employees of the institution to continue their efforts in the interest of the children beneficiaries of the Program, added the note.

In a difficult socio-political context, the General Coordination of the PNCS expresses its joy and pride, while renewing its commitment to structuring actions to support school canteens. The institution aims to strengthen food security and improve the nutritional status of beneficiaries through sustainable interventions.

The Grand Prix Réserve National will be awarded to the PNCS by several organizations, including Voix et Cœur d’Haïti, during a memorable ceremony to be held on Sunday, October 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Quisqueya University. This event symbolizes not only the recognition of the work accomplished, but also the strengthening of moral and democratic values, as well as the consolidation of links around school feeding in Haiti.
