The World Cup sniper competition was held in Cairo, Egypt. In this, the Indian team performed well and won medals. India’s Rhythm Sangwan and Anish Panwala won gold in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Mixed Team event on the last day today. The duo defeated the Thai pair 17-7 in the gold medal match.

The Indian team won the silver medal in the men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistor team after losing to Germany.

Thus, India topped the medal list with a total of 7 medals, including 4 gold, 2 silver and one bronze. The Norwegian team finished second with 3 gold, one silver and 2 bronze medals. The French team finished third with 20 medals including 3 gold.

More than 500 player-athletes from a total of 60 countries participated in the tournament. Of these, 22 countries have won medals.
