Cider Security, which has developed an operating system for the application security worlds, has announced the completion of a $ 38 million round of funding from existing companies in the company – Tiger Global Management andGlilot Capital Partners, when the company also has private investors such as Atlassian, DataBricks, SoFi and more.
The company has developed a platform that provides security teams with an in-depth and comprehensive picture of the technologies, systems and processes that exist in the organization’s development environment. The technology is expected to enable security teams to implement controls and solutions for the unique technological characteristics of each environment and achieve full resilience throughout the CD / CI (Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery) process. The technology it has built, according to the company, is unique and will allow organizations to implement and manage application security programs within minutes.
The purpose of recruiting the current round is to expand the activities of the development center in Israel and to establish new offices around the world to provide a solution to the growing demand for the company’s services. The company is used by dozens of global companies and currently employs about 60 people on three continents and is expected to double itself.
The company was founded at the end of 2020 by Guy Fletcher (former information security manager at AppsFlyer) and Daniel Kribelevich who took part in various senior positions in the field.
