Guri City (Mayor Baek Kyeong-hyeon) announced that the 18th Guri City Lifelong Learning Festival, held at Guri Hangang Park from Friday the 11th to Sunday the 13th, was successfully concluded.
This festival is held under the theme of “Lifelong learning that is enjoyed and shared beyond learning, the flower of learning!” and Guri City’s lifelong learning clubs and officials share with citizens the talents and skills they have honed over the year, contributing to the growth of Guri City’s lifelong learning. It was a meaningful opportunity to see progress.
In addition, this year’s Lifelong Learning Award was selected for those who passionately dedicated themselves to promoting lifelong education in the field. In the individual sector, various lifelong learning activities such as the provincial government-supported Lifelong Learning Village Community Project (Galmae-dong Residents’ Association) and the operation of a job experience program (barista) were held. Seol Mi-ran, who actively displayed her skills, was honored with the award.

In particular, stray cat writer Kim Ha-yeon’s ‘Life of a Stray Cat’ talk show and exhibition of submitted works greatly impressed citizens and made them think about coexistence with stray cats.
